Superb site;) love to return soon to this beautiful countryside.
Have fond memories of Muker Reeth Aysgarth and more from back in the 50/60's exploring the Lead Mine history, places like Old Gang Mine etc;)
Best regards..

Hello Cees, thank you so much for your excellent site.
Me and my husband are real anglofiles (also from holland) for many many years, and we visit the north each year, with the northern dales as our highlight.
This year we can't, to bad, and i am feeling homesick to the dales especially when i view sites like yours.
Goodbye cees, and have a good time.

Really enjoyed finding this great website whilst browsing the 'snow' pictures around the UK this week. I am a Yorkshire girl now living in California. I still come back to the Dales to visit my schoolfriend in Giggleswick and love the beauty surrounding this area. I have sent your link to my son iin Spain who also loves running in the Dales.
Isn't technology wonderful......I can sit here on the other side of the world and enjoy all this beauty whever I like. Thank you once again.

As the producer of the very first independent Yorkshire Dales video for sale back in 1983, I should like to congratulate this site as being the one that made me most want to return there !!
I lived in Airedale from 1975 to 1999, and then retired to Spain. During that time, I owned and ran "Studio 21" in Denholme, a small town in Airedale, and it was from there that the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District films were produced. They have just been re-issued on DVD from "AngelFilms UK" as 25th anniversary editions

This site becomes better and better. The new format, in which the videos are shown, let you feel as being in a cinema and at scuh a moment the Dales look very near. Thanks for that feeling.

Hi,
This is a lovely website that has captured the full spirit of the Dales. Of course I particularly like the introduction which shows our cottage in a very festive light! It has been in the family for over 40 years and my family have always enjoyed staying there in the heart of Swaledale. Your photographs of the changing seasons are beautiful and remind us of all the different times; lambing, swimming in the Swale, hay making and trudging through the snow to the local pub.
Well done. Keep taking the photos.
Regards, Nick Hewitt

As a member of an online travel community I am always searching for interesting places to visit and it was during one of my regular searches that I came across your site. Mick

HI,
What a very very welcome site.
Like all of your viewers I love the Dales and anything associated with them, my favourite is Wharfdale - from Grassington and Kilnsey through Kettlewell to Buckden and Hubberholme. Keep up the good work, I keep coming back and back...!

Hi,
Groetjes,
Danny

Hi - much appreciate the site - very favourite place of mine is Arkengarthdale and I am searching, searching, searching for the Millenium Project Book "Arkengarthdale - a moment in time" written by Graham White and Ray Wright ISBN 0953921506. No luck so far and would really appreciate it if anyone has a copy they are willing to sell at a reasonable price.
Thank you for everything on your site - very interested in weather all the time and you supply all details. Wonderful county - God's own country of course.
We live in the south, and really appreciate coming north to such peace and quiet.

Like you, love the Dales and take photos when we go there (from Devon)... your photos are gorgeous and I now have the problem of having to wait for another 2 weeks before I shall be there for my next holiday. I also enjoyed your video clips, was sitting watching them with a silly grin on my face. Thanks for sharing the fun.

Great website and wonderful photo's, so pleased you enjoy visiting the Dales. The 'yellow flowers' in the spring section are photo 1. buttercups in a hay meadow and photo 3. Ravenseat - marsh marigolds - these grow, as the name suggests, in very boggy ground. After so many visits you will know how wet it can be here.
